A Hell of a Conference." The Society of Automotive Historians Biennial History Conference at Revs Stanford, April 10-12, 2014

Photographs taken during the breaks at the SAH Biennial Conference at Revs Stanford
As participant Jaime I. Del Valle said after it was all over on Sunday morning, "It was a hell of a conference." The hospitality was wonderful, the informal conversations most informative, the presentations fresh and intellectually invigorating. What was particularly rewarding was the listening to graduate student research, and the notion that this conference is one way to encourage younger scholars as they break into the various fields of history that touch on the automobile. The automobile serves as an important linkage to a large number of areas of scholarship in a most revealing manner. We have barely begun to scratch the surface!

  2. Particularly notable was Masato Inoue's presentation on Nissan's new-vehicle work including the Leaf EV.
