Can anyone shed information on this business? Just asking for an acquaintance who lives in Yellow Springs.
From Ed -- I drove to Yellow Springs and took a photo of the two buildings (joined in the middle by another smaller structure) on Dayton Street and the former Village Ford where earlier was the site of the Oster Ford Agency.
If one compares the current structures with the photo from 1962 found on this website it's clear that the block structure to the left is nearly identical to the earlier iteration although I talked with someone in that part of the building who said he believed the garage door part of the earlier building had been removed and the building made more compact as it appears today. The structure to the right, however, had its "fort-like" top removed and replaced with a different roof structure. The part that adjoins the two buildings is some hippy shop now but this is the building that housed the two earlier Ford dealerships.
