My Favorite Car/Driving Songs: AC/DC - Highway to Hell (1979)

It is the iconic rock hit that is a must listen to on any road trip. With a three chord opening and a head-popping drum accompaniment, it shows what "less is more" music can do.
Highway to Hell is the nickname given to the Canning Highway, a road that the late AC/DC singer Bob Scott would take in the late 1970s to reach the rock and toll hotel Raffles.

Don’t think taking the highway to hell is easy. If you do take that road, it will be anything but straight and easy. It will be filled with pain and littered with the wreckage of people whom you hurt badly. Your life legacy will be zero and there will be little peace along the path to your soul’s destruction. Trust me -- I have taken that road and at age 74 have nothing but regrets.
