A Homemade VW Bettle Convertible

From Ed. A very nice job in terms of the attachment points around the top!

Another photo from my collection of car oddities taken during our various trips to Europe.  This one I spotted in a parking lot near a student dorm near a university in Finland -- within a few miles of the Arctic Circle by the way.  The student owner apparently had used a torch and metal cutting device to cut off the top of a VW Beetle, turning it into a convertible and creating a canvas-like covering for the top and with attachment grommets on each side.  I also noted that the student parking lot registration sticker was stuck to the side of the rear fender.
