This 1936 Cord was perhaps the most interesting of all cars at the Concours. It is a one off car; sent in 1936 to Citroen along with a black Cord Sedan, it was a test bed for a Citroen 8/15 design. the car has a Citroen front end, Aluminum wheels, its supercharger is removed, and Bendix selector transmission replaced by a conventional column shifter! Behind the drivers's seat is an original Michelin radial tire spare. |
