This plant was located near where 5/3 Field is today.
From Ed --Attached is a Mayfield photograph that Marvin Christian found. He believes this photo was never published anywhere and is likely not in the Mayfield photographic collection at Carillon Park. This is the GM Delco building circa early 1930s and taken at night. This building, according to Mr. Christian, was located on the site now occurred by 5/3 Field. It has a lovely film noir quality about it and tops of the early 1930s cars make it a really special photograph in my opinion.
