Honda, one of Ohio’s and the Dayton/Springfield region’s
biggest employers, will cease production for six days,
affecting the company’s Ohio and Indiana plants.
Production will be suspended beginning Monday,
the automaker announced Wednesday morning,
directly linking the decision to the economic devastation
wrought by Covid-19.
Honda said it will continue full pay for all of its associates. Some 27,600 Honda workers in North America will be affected, the company said.
