So making donuts is not just confined to the Bay Area. At the corner of Fieldston and Meadowview -- three houses from mine -- there is a broad intersection where a month ago or more somebody cut a series of donuts! Sideshow culture came to the Heitmann neighborhood. But it took for Randy Hughes to point this topic out to me. The very fact I missed it -- drifting was mentioned in the 2nd Edition of the Automobile and American Life, but not Sideshow Culture.
California remains the center of car culture, from which it is spread around the world.
