Beavercreek, Greene County Ohio Cruise-In, Friday, June 30, 2017

With two competing events on Friday night, this was a "slim pickings" cruise-in.  Only one car struck my fancy, a 1972 Pinto.  Original owner, with modified exhaust and 2300 cc engine, customized to what end I do not know.  But you rarely see a Pinto at any of these gatherings, and few survive. I had one between 1974 and 1984, and bought it was a very good car, with the exception of a noisy clutch throwout bearing and a bottom passenger door rust problem.
An economical and easy to work on car!

  1. Great read! I really enjoyed the nostalgic feel of this post—classic car cruises always bring back such vibrant memories. It’s interesting how each vehicle has its own story, much like the ones I see every day working in car removal. Speaking of which, if you're ever in Queensland and looking to offload an old vehicle, Cash For Scrap Cars Caboolture is a reliable option that offers great value and environmentally responsible disposal.

  2. Great post! It's always refreshing to read about real automotive experiences, especially those that connect with local communities and classic car enthusiasts. Reading this reminded me of how the car scene continues to evolve, especially with services like brisbane cash for car becoming popular for people looking to responsibly part ways with their old vehicles while still making a bit of money back.

It’s interesting to see how the passion for cars stays strong across generations. Lately, I’ve also been reading about how people are shifting gears when it comes to parting with their vehicles, with services like cars for cash Melbourne becoming a popular and hassle-free option.
