When batteries reach a certain level of efficiency, perhaps by 2030, the electric car will be ascendent and the ICE will become a very minor player. Lithium poses a number of problems, especially since China controls 75% of the Lithium supply at present. Can Lithium production meet the rise of the EV as it becomes dominant in the marketplace? Or are there alternatives?
